Esmian mentioned to me that Vinjince is planning to have the next ZDT Fight Night, on August 25th, be war games. They're apparently group-based activities that don't necessarily include fighting. Anyway, he also said that, if we want to participate, he thought Vinjince would be happy to have us.
He forwarded me an email about it, which is below.
Hey all. Just a heads up that I'll be turning the next ZDT fight night (August 25th) into a war game. Looking to get as many SG members there as possible.
Just to give a rundown of how it'll work... it'll be a team based event between two teams. The SG will be split up into those teams. It'll be a 3-round event; 1000 plats to the team that wins all 3 rounds, 750 plat to the team that wins 2 rounds and 250 plat to the team that wins 1 round.
Here's an idea of some of the objectives from the last event:
Round 1 - The Favor
In this round teams were tasked with finding a red rose belonging to the Princess that was stolen from her. Clues were given over the gweth on where the thief might be. Once found, teams were to obtain the rose through any means necessary, whether through force or persuasion. First team to bring the rose back to me wins the round.
Round 2 - Rescue
In this round teams were tasked with finding a dead body that was left on the battlefield after a great victory against Viggu. Whichever team managed to drag it to my location won that round.
Round 3 - In Plain Sight
Someone threatened to throw a pie at the Princess next time she's in public, so it was tasked to both teams to discover who it was. Both teams searched for clues (usually people) around town and were pointed in the direction of the true culprit with even more clues (which turned out to be myself in the end). Whichever team that killed me at the end won. I was stanced to 0 with no armor so even the smallest of characters could've done it.
Those are the rounds we did last time and it was a great turnout, and I think most had fun. The goal is to have fun and learn to react to situations better as well as use good teamwork. Although teams could attack each other through those rounds, a game where circle/skill doesn't matter AS much in order to pull out the win for your team seems to be enjoyed by all.
