Kodius has said that, as of last night, it should take five days for prestige decay to begin.

Of course there's no way to test that he hasn't currently horribly bugged it so I'm going on the record as saying you're losing prestige every hour on the hour.

Prestige decay makes me sad. It also makes me want to punch kittens. Nobody likes a punched kitten.

I'm letting mine go for a day and seeing if it drops from renowned to noteworthy, since I'm barely into the former. I'll let you guys know how it is tomorrow.

Still renowned. So, things seem to be working.

By the way, I'm sure you've all read about this but once you have your stamp all you need to do to reset the decay timer is mark something with it. There's not really any incentive to go above reknown right now but eventually we'll have advanced stamps and who wants to go from start to finish all over again... ugh...

Yep. For days you don't feel like doing a work order, just pick the easiest thing in the book to make, throw it together and stamp it. Prestige preserved.
..or for those particularly lazy (or busy) days, you should craft the previously mentioned easiest item beforehand until you are ready to complete the last step, then put it away for later. Then when the day comes where you don't even feel like making something, take the incomplete item out, complete the last step and stamp it.

My new policy is: make 2-4 pieces at once, oil and stamp them every few days, repeat. Laziness ftw.
